On the 15th of November 2014, STREAMS Pathways to Higher Education in partnership withits sister program, Ateneo School for Upcoming Leaders (ASUL), conducted a Self-Awareness and Reflective Leadership Seminar Workshop for the STREAMS participants.
The seminar comprised of lectures on topics on self-awareness and goal setting; games were also incorporated during the said event.
Self-awareness is important for a person to better grasp a clearer understanding of himself; he becomes empowered to make necessary changes and he is able to develop his strengths as well as identify the aspects where he would like to make improvements.

Reflective leadership, on the other hand, is a way of approaching the work of being a leader by teaching one’s life with both presence and personal mastery. Learning to be present, to be aware, and to be attentive of one’s experiences with people throughout the day is the focus of the activity.
